Metalic Silver has excellent surface smoothness. It is produced with metal or metal oxide coating on glass flake. Coatings with Metallic Silver added to paint or resins produce clear and elegant color tones and a unique metallic luster.

It is widely used in a variety of applications in producing motorbikes, electric appliances, cellular phones, inks, and to produce a mirror like effect in nail polish when used with an appropriate top coat.

The color additive silver may be safely used for coloring fingernail polish at a level not to exceed 1 percent of the final product. Not approved for other cosmetic applications.

Silver Metal Flake is part of an exciting new generation of effect pigments based on calcium aluminum borosilicate, which gives print products and plastics particular luxury. The special technology used is responsible for the pigment’s extraordinary brilliance and powerful color. With a particle size of 10-100 μm, the pigment lends high-covering, glittering silver accents to formulations with a mirror/chrome effect.
