Novelty Pigments in Cosmetics

For the most part these types of pigment are NOT approved for Cosmetic Use. Please read descriptions before ordering.

• Thermochromatic Pigments: NO
• Photochromatic Pigments: NO
• Neon Pigments: NO (Soap is not a cosmetic so may be used in soap) Neons are approved for use in the EU and Asia.
• Plastic Glitter: NO plastic glitter is not approved for the US. The EU recently banned plastic glitter under the size 5mm. The ban will prohibit the use of plastic glitter in rinse-off cosmetics by 2027, in leave-on cosmetics by 2029, and in make-up and nail cosmetics by 2035.
